How many people can come on the boat?

Capacity depends on the trip type and group needs. Contact us with your party size and we’ll confirm the best trip option for your group.

Do you provide snorkeling gear?

Yes, snorkeling gear is available for guests. You’re also welcome to bring your own mask/snorkel if preferred.

Is snorkeling safe for beginners and kids?

Do I need to be a strong swimmer to snorkel?

You should be comfortable in the water, but we can often accommodate beginners. If you have non-swimmers or very young children, please contact us so we can recommend the best charter setup.

What will we see while snorkeling in the Florida Keys?

Florida Keys reef snorkeling often includes tropical fish, coral gardens, rays, and sometimes sea turtles depending on season and ocean conditions. Every trip is unique!

Do you offer scuba diving trips?

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety comes first. If weather or sea conditions are unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule for the next available day or provide alternatives based on policy.

How much is a customary tip / gratuity for a charter?

A customary tip in the USA is 15%-20%. Our charter is not simply a boat rental company. The Captain (and optional “crew”) work as service providers throughout your full day or half day excursion, including setting up equipment, snorkel guide, photography and photo package editing, chef, bar tender, coordinating multiple boats, cleaning, and more.

Our Vessel: The 33’ World Cat TE

Sharky’s Charters sails the ultra-stable 33′ World Cat TE—a twin-hull catamaran renowned in the Florida Keys for its smooth ride, spacious 10’6″ beam, and offshore reliability. Perfect for families, divers, snorkelers, and sunset cruisers, it features twin outboards, private restroom, high freeboard safety, and easy water access to reach the best reefs and hidden gems.
